A few things that you really need to know…………………
God is infinitely perfect.
“He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.” - Deuteronomy 32:4
We are not.
“For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” - Romans 3:23
That fact separates us.
“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” -Isaiah 59:2
Our sin must be paid for.
“In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” -Hebrews 9:22
Christ is our only hope.
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” - 2 Corinthians 5:21
God loves us.
“But God demonstrates his own love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” -Romans 5:8
Give your life over to God.
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” -Acts 3:19
